Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hi! Thank you for looking at my profile. We are searching for a live out nanny to join our family (long-term 2 years). Must be in Toronto and eligible to work (no sponsorship). I am returning to work in Nov/Dec of this year so we are very flexible on start date - anytime from now until November is fine. We are really looking for the perfect fit for our family so we will make the timing work for the right person. We are a three kid family. Our twin boys are 8 months old and my daughter is 4 years old (she is and will remain in full time daycare until full-time kindergarten starts in September). School pick-up is at 3:30 which is an 8 minute walk from our house. My kids are happy, routine based and have no currently known allergies or special needs. I want this to be relaxed, comfortable and happy environment for all of us and you will be a big part of that. We are looking for someone to be our parenting partner while we away at work. Our perfect person would be active, creative, caring and put the needs of our kids first. We want someone who will not just act as a babysitter, rather take part in the emotional and educational development of our kids. I should mention that we have a small, friendly (and very lazy) dog that will spend most of his time sleeping while you are around. You aren’t required to walk him unless you really want to. Someone who is comfortable around dogs will be important. In regards to housework, we are looking for some very minimal help around the house. Laundry and dishes mostly, however this is of much less importance to the day to day care of the kids. Meal / snack prep for the kids would be awesome as well. All other cleaning / cooking duties will be handled by myself or another helping hand. Full-time hours will ideally be 8:30-6pm M-F. Pay and perks are completely negotiable - again we are looking for the right person for the job so we will make it work. Preference given to candidates that have any of the following: University degree Close to Trinity Bellwoods or within the downtown care area.
