Nanny Job in Ancaster, Ontario

We are looking for a part-time nanny for our two children, aged 3.5 years and 16 months. The position starts September 2016 and hours will be Tues/Thurs from 10am-5pm, with some flexibility required every 3 weeks to stay until 6pm. We have two small dogs who will need to be let outside and fed but are otherwise low-maintenance. We have one cat who will not require any care. Some light housekeeping and basic meal preparation will be required. Our home has a fenced yard and toys, and is within walking distance of an Early Years centre and parks. We are happy to provide any additional resources as needed, but will not be able to provide a vehicle. Candidates are not expected to have a vehicle, but must be able to get to our home in Ancaster independently. Our son attends preschool, which is a 10-minute walk away, so candidates must be able to drop off/pick up if preschool occurs on a working day. The ideal candidate will be positive, patient, fun and able to adhere to the family routine and nap schedule within reason. This position is ideal for a student, ECE grad or someone looking for part-time work with some wonderful kids. He or she will possess an updated vaccination record and a criminal reference check with vulnerable sector screen. Preference will be given to candidates with experience/references.
