Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

JOB SUMMARY: Looking for an experienced full-time Live-Out Nanny to care for 1 year old infant and 4 year old preschooler in the downtown Toronto - CityPlace area (Spadina and Fort York). Starting in Mid to end of April 2019 till September with option of extending to end of year. Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm. 45-50 week hour with option for more based on availability and parents work schedule. Rate: Hourly wage negotiable DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: •Tend to emotional well-being of child •Style of care: Patient, empathetic, caring, nurturing, teacher, set boundaries with love •Take child to and from appointments •Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home •Organize, activities and outings for children (library circle time, early years centre, read books, play, park etc.) •Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development •Nap infant •Perform light housekeeping (when infant is napping) •Laundry •Meal prep (Prepare and serve nutritious meals) •Groceries (Shop for food and household supplies) (occasional) •Errands (occasional) •Flexibility required (in case we're running late from work) •Comfortable working in condo setting QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: •Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (children under 5 years old) •Minimum 3-5 years experience working as a Nanny in a private home •Must be able to provide upon request: Criminal record check •First aid/CPR certified an asset •References required upon request: 2-3 most recent employment •Language - English
