Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

Job Posting: We are seeking a nanny working in North Vancouver, British Columbia near Edgemont village. We need help in the mornings to get our two kids, a boy in kindergarten and a girl in grade 2, up and ready for the day and off to school, as well as light housekeeping and meal preparation, three days a week. Our kids are nice, gentle souls who like school but need a little help getting motivated in the morning. Service Requirements: Our family needs a reliable person who can get the kids breakfast, then get them to school which is walking distance. After the kids have been dropped, we need help with some light housekeeping and meal preparation. The perfect employee is reliable, has open lines of communication, is kind and patient. We are looking for at least two years of child care experience, a drivers license with a clean driving record, criminal record check, first aid and CPR certification, basic cooking ability, and has a good sense of what kids need in the morning. We prefer someone who lives on the North Shore or who has their own car, but if you live on a reliable transit route, that is fine too. Schedule: We need help from 6:45am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, beginning in January until June. Our minimum day would be four hours from 6:45 - 1... but we are willing to offer more hours to make it work for the right person. We have a lovely black lab who is always happy to go for a walk if that's something you are interested in. Salary: Is negotiable. We will pay $18 /hour depending on experience.
