Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a reliable, energetic and playful part-time nanny for minimum 10 hours a week to 25 hours maximum per week. Schedule of hours (mainly weekdays) can be provided 6 months in advance and will include Sunday 8am-12pm and Monday evenings 7-11pm. We have a 6 year old (in school full-time) and 3 year old (part-time preschool). Duties: • Supervise 6 and 3 year old boys, play and engage with children in activities such as reading, music, art and playing with toys • Attend at local parks • pick up 6 year old from school (7 minute walk) • Support children’s social and emotional development • Maintain safe and healthy environment in home • Ensure children eat healthy fresh and/or prepared food •light housekeeping and meals/snacks for the children Home is shared with 10 year old beagle mix. Optional: We have a newly renovated basement available with separate entrance, bathroom and kitchen which can also be furnished. Education and Experience required: * high school graduate * further training in child care and development such as a formal nanny training program, early childhood classes and/or in-service training * proven child care experience with references * First Aid and CPR certification * Criminal Record check * Vaccinated (including two doses for COVID)
