Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

Hi I recently moved to Montréal from Vancouver where I graduated from Simon Fraser university with a degree in Philosophy. I've always had a soft spot for kids and their open-minded curiosity to explore and learn about the world. There's something really special about witnessing and helping shape a child's learning. I'm passionate about treating children with the same respect that is expected of adults, and to foster a caring and respectful relationship between caregiver and child. I like to cook, with an emphasis on healthy plant-based meals that are nurturing to a growing brain and body. I like creative projects, being physically active, and new adventures. I believe in using the naturally caring disposition of kids to foster respect for the earth and all it's inhabitants. I am a native english speaker but can speak a little bit of French, of which I am working to learn more. I babysat extensively before I started university. Mostly to kids who were 6months to 6 years old, and continue my interests in gentle child-rearing through stealing my friends' and families' kids whenever possible.
