Nanny Job in High River, Alberta

We are looking for a reliable, energetic and fun caregiver for our two girls starting in the fall. We will need somebody two days a week, in our home - Monday and Wednesday from 7:50-4:45. (Times may vary slightly) Must have some flexibility with days - we may need you to care for the girls on a Friday instead of a Wednesday. This will only happen a few times a year and you will know your schedule a month in advance. Our youngest daughter is 4 and has Down syndrome. Our oldest is 5 and is very protective of her sister. You must have some experience with Down syndrome or working with children of varying abilities. You must have First Aid certification. Adele knows some sign language as her speech is delayed. It would be a bonus if the caregiver knew some basic signs - more, done, thank you, help, please, go etc. It is a requirement that you love playing games, doing crafts, going outside, playing superheroes and telling jokes. No driving required. You will need to make the girls breakfast and lunch, so the ability to cook more than Kraft Dinner is an asset. Very light housekeeping is required - sweep the main floor, swiffer and tidy up before we get home from work. Our house is very clean and tidy! We don't expect you to clean our toilets or dust the house! :) Our number 1 priority is our super rad kids! If you are interested, please let me know and we can discuss the position in more detail.
