Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello Caregivers- We are a Mt. Pleasant family searching for a part-time, live-out caregiver to look after our nineteen-month old twin boys. From now through the end of April, we need someone three days a week from 8:30am-5:00pm. Starting in May, we will want to transition to 5 days/week (M-F), 4 to 5 hours per day (20-25 hours/week). We are looking for a warm, energetic, patient, experienced, loving nanny to join our family as soon as possible. Location: 16th Avenue between Main and Cambie Start Date: As soon as possible Hours: • Now-end of April 2018: M,T,W 8:30am-5:00pm (could also be M,T,TH depending on your availability) • Starting in May 2108: M-F; 4-5 hours/day (20-25 hours/week with room for flexibility in the schedule) The ideal candidate will: • Have a minimum of 3 years experience caring for twins or for multiple children • Have Infant First Aid and CPR Certificate – or be willing to receive training • Provide a recent criminal record check • Provide excellent references • Be fluent in English • Be reliable, punctual and accountable • Prepare nutritious meals and do some light housework • Create/follow a schedule of daily activities and naps • Be physically active and capable of managing activities such as gym, art, park and library visits • Enjoy the outdoors • Take our children to age-appropriate activities • Facilitate stimulating at-home activities If this sounds like the right position for you, please be in touch with a resume and note about why you think this is the right match for you and our family.
