Nanny Job in Richmond, British Columbia

We require a non smoking nanny/babysitter for two children, aged 3 and 7. The 7 year old is in grade 3, so during the school year, will require drop off and pickup at school (within walking distance). The 3 year old is in preschool 2 days a week so would need drop off some days and pickup(15 min by transit from our home). We are shift workers with a rotating schedules and require a person who is able to take on a flexible, part time schedule including some weekends with both children. On average, about 60-80 hours a month. We are looking for a person who enjoys caring for children, keeping them active, has some experience(1 year), and would follow the children's routines/schedules. It would be helpful if you have your own vehicle but not absolutely necessary. The care would be in our home and the hours can be as early as 6/7 am. Most days are until 3 or 4 pm while some are only until 2:30 pm. If there is a later start, (9:30 am) occasionally care is required until 8 pm (once or twice month). Some days one of us will be home sleeping, after working a night shift, therefore, occupying the children while we sleep and/or taking them to the park or outside to play for some of the time will be necessary. Minor food prep only and minor clean up. A criminal record check, basic first aid, and references are required. Wages are negotiable depending on experience and flexibility of your schedule.
