Nanny Job in Victoria, British Columbia

Part-time Live Out nanny/ babysitter: experience in childcare (formal training asset), French language a bonus We have a wonderful little boy- who will be 10months old when I return to work in April. We would like to start getting our son exposed to a new nanny/ sitter though ideally before I return to work- therefore in mid-March. His Dad will be going to school part- time and we are looking for a part-time nanny/ babysitter to help care for our son during the week- for about 3 days a week(7-8hrs/ day) . Ideally Tuesday -Thursday if possible. We live near the University of Victoria. Ideally- we would love a babysitter/ nanny who can speak French (but this is not required- it is a bonus). Most of all we require great references, experience with childcare (ideally someone who has done some educational training with children and with a reference to support this) and who has had several years of experience in the past looking after children. Although age is not a limiting factor, we are aiming for our childcare provider to be over 25. We would like someone who is willing to do light chores: laundry, cleaning of the main kitchen & living room and light meal preparation for the baby.
