Nanny Job in Stoney Creek, Ontario

Family seeking in home nanny/mother’s helper for assistance with newborn baby & 3.5 year old boy. Salary depends on experience & is negotiable. One year of relevant childcare experience required, prefer to have worked with young children. Must have an equivalent of Canadian high school diploma, police check & First Aid & CPR. Job located in Stoney Creek, ON. English language spoken and written, required. Spanish language is an asset. Work to take place in employers home. Skills required include-- Supervise & care for children in employer's residence. Prepare & serve meals for child, light housekeeping duties for the children. Diapering. Oversee children's activities,as instructed by employer. Maintain a safe & healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene. Tend to the emotional well-being of children & support their social development. Organize & participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading & outings. Communication and decision making skills are key. Must be flexible. We look forward to building a long term relationship with our children’s nanny.
