Nanny Job in Oakville, Ontario

We are a loving family looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to help care for our three young girls – a four-year-old girl who is just starting JK, a two-year- old girl who may still be in part time day care and an 8-month old girl. (as of this September) The ideal candidate will have some child care experience, loves children and is mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. The work schedule will be 25-40 hrs/week depending on the candidate's desire and will be made 30-60 days in advance. There is some flexibility in the schedule. The vast majority of the time will be during regular working hours but there may be occasional evening/weekend work if we can find a candidate willing to help during those hours. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. We live a short walk to Bronte Harbour Beach Park and within a km of numerous outdoor public play structures. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting our four-year-old to and from the bus stop on some mornings and afternoons Preparing meals and snacks for the toddler and baby Putting the children down for naps Changing diapers and clothing, as well as occasional washing and drying of clothes Occasionally bathing the children Playing with and caring for the children Some cleaning and general housekeeping (separate housekeeper comes weekly) You will need a First Aid certificate, Working With Children police check certificate. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded. The start date is ideally mid August or early September but some part time hours before that time can be discussed.
