Jeremy truly was an asset to our family shortly after having my second child. I needed the extra pair of hands to juggle taking care of my eldest (almost 4 at the time). Jeremy was with us for nearly 5 months and we would have loved to keep him longer. He helped us 5 days a week starting very early sometimes at 5am and was always willing to be available at random times due to unpredictable pre-preschooler's schedule. Jeremy helped me prepare breakfast for my eldest and even myself, and spent mornings making sure my 4 year old ate her breakfast. Jeremy was extremely sympathetic of the struggles of a postpartum mama. He ensured my eldest was dressed for school and managed daily drop off and pick up. I was impressed at how comfortable he was at properly securing a 5 point harness. During the day Jeremy did some light errands for me to allow me to focus on my infant and ensured my eldest was always picked up on time. Jeremy would also help with bathing and bed time prep as well as some light housekeeping due to post c-section recovery. On occasion Jeremy would help with my infant to allow me to rest or spend time with my eldest. He was very comfortable wearing her and ensuring she was always dry and clean. Jeremy’s approach with my toddler was very much a treatment of the child as an equal, with a strong effort to keep engagement high so that my daughter’s time with him was instructive or enriching. During his time with us, Jeremy respected and supported our “no-screen” household and was an advocate for this approach. Not only was he warm and caring towards both my girls, he respected our vegan household and prepared exceptional meals on a regular basis. We highly recommend Jeremy and wish him well.
