Nanny Job in Okotoks, Alberta

Overview: We are looking for a nanny to serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion for our two sons ages 9 months and 2 years. Applicants are considered specialists working in the family’s home, responsible for all tasks related to care of the children and household. I am a small business owner, and my husband has recently been promoted, and as such an applicant with some schedule flexibility would be ideal. March, April, May & June are busier times for me. I would love to have extra support during these times. Regular Weekly Schedule: Monday 9-4 Tuesday 9-4 Wednesday 12-6 Thursday 1-7 Friday 9-4 Major Responsibilities • Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children • Supervise the children’s activities at all times • Plan, prepare and/or tend to meals for the family • Dress the children • Place the children down for naps and bedtime • Bathe the children • Change diapers • Aid in Potty training the children • Perform housework, including washing, drying & folding of laundry, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles, sweeping / vacuuming, dusting • Teach the children good social manners • Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors • Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children • Discipline the children, when necessary • Drive the children to and from activities (if needed) • Administer medicine to the children (if needed) Job Qualifications and Requirements • High school graduate • Experience caring for children • Training in early childhood education preferred • First aid training and child and infant CPR • Car, driver’s license, auto insurance, and safe driving history • Authorization to work in the Canada • English proficiency • Reliable, honest, and trustworthy • Physical ability to care for a young child • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision Please contact me for more information.
