Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a responsible and very reliable caregiver for our happy daughter starting in May, 2019. We are looking for someone available to work Thursdays, every other Friday. We are also looking for someone to work Mondays starting in June. The ideal candidate for the position is someone with a genuine interest in children, their education and development. We are looking for someone positive, responsible and fun who will enjoy spending time with our little girl! The primary responsibility of the position is the supervision and care of our daughter in a thoughtful and caring manner including all the basics (feeding, dressing, bathing, putting her down for naps). We are looking for someone active, who will enjoy taking our daughter to the play gym, classes, park, beach, library and various outings throughout the city. You may occasionally be required to supervise a friend of hers on a play date. Our daughter attends preschool from 9:15-11:... and the nanny could start at 11:45 and stay with her until 5:30. Alternatively the nanny could start at 8:45 am if they would like to do some light work around the house while my daughter is at school. This position will require some light housekeeping such as keeping the kitchen tidy, running and emptying the dishwasher, putting away our daughter's toys, laundry and emptying the trash and recycling. You will not be asked to do heavy cleaning. You may also be asked to run errands, grocery shop and do some light cooking or food prep. We are located in the West End of Vancouver, close to public transit. At least 2 years of nannying experience with toddlers is preferred. References are required and will be checked.
