Nanny Job in Oakville, Ontario

Description: We are searching for a Nanny to work in Oakville, Ontario. We are looking to hire an educated, experienced and caring individual to watch our toddler, in our home, from 2pm into the evening on Tuesday and Thursday in September and Tuesday and Friday thereafter. We will need full day support on Thursdays in September. This is a minimal requirement, however, we are flexible up to 30 hours per week. In addition to child care, the nanny is to help with household duties such as meal planning, grocery shopping and household cleaning. Services And Training: Our home requires toddler care and pick up from daycare at approximately 4:30 as well as some house cleaning services, including laundry. A flexible candidate will have their own car. They will grocery shop and prepare meals. Our ideal employee would be experienced in child care and have training as an early childhood educator, however it is not required to be hired. *The experienced candidate should have experience in working with toddler and/or preschoolers and is able to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities. Our ideal day would look like: 2:00-4:30pm- Grocery shop, house-cleaning & meal preparation 4:30pm- Daycare pick-up 4:30-6pm- Engage in outdoor play and extra-curricular activities like swimming and music 6pm- Dinner 7:00pm Bath and bedtime 8:00pm- Approximate home time Please note: Home time may vary from week to week and the successful candidate should be flexible. weekly schedules will be provided. We are looking for a start date of September 9th. Suitable candidates will be asked to conduct a phone interview along with a personal face-to face interview. Two references of previous childcare experience are required.
