Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Looking for someone to help care for our infant daughter (she's approximately 8 months) in our home while we are working. The shifts would be between 3-5hrs 3 days per week (~10-15hrs). Must have availability on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Shifts start at 8:30AM (M, T) or 11AM (Th). One parent will be in the home and can help with naps and bottle feeding. We mostly need assistance entertaining our daughter during her wake windows. This would include reading, taking her for walks, feeding her and playing with her. She will start daycare in the fall so this is a temporary job however, we would still love to use someone familiar for occasional child care that may also include our other 3 year old daughter. This is a perfect opportunity for students as we are looking for someone from April to the end of August. Services And Training: We are looking for someone that really enjoys caring for and playing with a busy infant (without the use of any electronics). We are looking for someone that practices empathy and reinforces positive behaviour in a very loving way. The candidate we choose MUST have child care experience (with references) in addition to child care first aid/CPR training and a certified police check.
