Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am 21 years old. Leadership, motivation, problem solving and creativity are a few skills I excel at and continue to learn through my studies at school. I have been attending Mount Royal University as a full-time student this last year, and will begin my Bachelor of Nursing degree in September. I am the youngest of 5 kids and come from a very tight knit family. Over the past 5 years I have gained extensive experience caring for children ages 6 months - 11 years old and I love creating a fun, caring and engaging environment while I am with kids. Responsibilities I have had while caring for children has been supervision of homework, preparing meals and snacks for the children, cleaning up after the children (i.e. dishes, toys etc), ensuring children complete their assigned chores, dressing the children, art and crafts, taking them on walks, driving to activities/schools/appointments, and making sure arguments were solved and dealt with in a positive manor. I also have experience with animals, and lots of them! I work part time (evenings) as a dog trainer with a local company. I personally have 1 dog, and 2 cats at the moment. I grew up with a wide array of animals as well I riding horses and was always surrounded by animals. I love helping others build relationships with animals. I have my certificate for First Aid and my Driver's License with a crystal clear driving record (I also have a vehicle). I would love to spend my summer helping a family with the care of their children and pets :) My availability is - Monday morning/afternoon - Tuesday morning/afternoon/evening - Wednesday morning/afternoon - Thursday morning/afternoon/evening - Friday morning -Saturday (sometimes) -Sundays (sometimes) *I am available some evenings, with advanced notice.
