Nanny Job in Nepean, Ontario

We are a nice, laid back family in Ottawa's west end (Nepean) looking for a full time nanny for a minimum one year commitment to look after our two boys come January. Our oldest boy is 6 and will be in Grade 1 and will require drop off and pick up (one block from our home) and our youngest will be 16 months. We are looking for someone who is kind, loving, patient, energetic, honest and reliable. Both boys love playing outside year round, and so we are looking for someone who loves to be outdoors as well. Our home is close to several parks, an outdoor swimming pool as well as the community rink steps from our backyard. The greenbelt is also close by. Having a drivers license is very important, and having your own vehicle is a definite asset. We have a lovely Bernese Mountain Dog who is also a part of our family, so being a dog friendly is a must. The hours of work will be approximately 7:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday. Housekeeping responsibilities would include: Daily tidying of living areas, keeping kitchen and bathrooms clean, laundry, weekly dusting, and just general organization. We would also appreciate a little help with food preparation which would include washing and cutting of vegetables, and other dinner preparation tasks. Our kids do enjoy baking and love to help out so baking things like muffins or banana bread with the kids would be awesome!
