Nanny Job in Langley, British Columbia

We are a family of four with a toddler(14 months old) and an a 6 year old. We are looking for a loving, organized, initiative, flexible, trustworthy, and with effective interpersonal skills to work 40 hours a week, 8 hours Monday to Friday as a live in. Will work in employer's/client's home with room and board provided. Duties: Housekeeping: Shop for food and household supplies when needed, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Childcare: Bathe, dress and feed children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child, Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development, Organize activities such as games and outings for the child, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for child, Tend to emotional well-being of child, Take child to appointments, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant, Prepare infant for rest periods Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent Work experience: At least 6 months of training or at least one year of full time paid employment as a nanny/caregiver in related field of occupation.
