Nanny Job in Delta, British Columbia

We are a loving German-Canadian family looking for someone interested in becoming an integral part of our family team, on a long-term basis. Duties will include: · Daycare for an adorable toddler and companionship for a fun and active senior with dementia (Monday-Friday) · Reminders (medication, self-care, scheduling) · Meal planning and preparation, including grocery shopping · Taking dependants to appointments and recreational activities · Daily walks with companion, toddler and well-behaved dog (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever) · Light housekeeping and laundry · Working with family and friends to foster an enriching life experience You are: · Loving, social, organized and reliable · Patient, previous experience with dementia and working with young children an asset but not required · In possession of a driver’s licence and clean driving record · Willing to undergo a criminal record check · Looking for a long-term living/working situation · A dog lover · A non-smoker You will have: · Large private living space separate from the main floor of the house; furnishings provided · Access to a car (if needed) for shopping, errands, etc. · Internet · Room and board · Weekends off (Saturday and Sunday), as well as Stat Holidays
