Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I am looking for employment before I head back to school next September, and hopefully something I can continue to do part time while in school. Child care is my favourite kind of work to do! In 2015 I graduated with distinction with my Bachelor (Honours) in Social Work from King's University College (Western). Since then I completed an 8 month contract with Brant Family and Children's Services (Children's Aid Society). Prior to this I gained significant experience working with children and youth through babysitting, various summer camps, Big Brothers Big Sister's, and volunteering as a Big Sister for many years. I also volunteered doing child care at the London Abused Women's Centre for many years as well. Additionally I have international experience volunteering in a kindergarten on the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. I just completed my first nanny job from January - May of this year. I nannyed an energetic, bright 20 month old girl. The mother is now on maternity leave so the position has ended. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a nanny and would like to do it again. Beyond that, I am also a huge animal lover, a strong swimmer comfortable around water, and a lover of books. I am comfortable around all age groups, including infants. I have twin sisters of my own so multiples do not frighten me! Additionally, I am willing to do light housework, small meal prep, as well as care for family pets. I am First Aid/CPR Certified and ASIST (s prevention). I have a valid G drivers licence and access to my own vehicle. I am very eager to continue working in the child care field!
