Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Nanny with driver’s license required for fun, busy family (Mom, son (age 7) and lovable small dog). Mom works full-time and travels frequently within North America. Son, who is energetic, sociable and fun-loving, is enrolled in full-time school from 8 am – 4 pm during the school year. We enjoy entertaining family and friends and travel for pleasure several weeks per year. Our home is lively and active and we have a large circle of family and friends that we love to see often. We value kindness and loyalty in those around us. The Nanny will complete household and personal errands and liaise with service providers (housekeeper, gardeners, couriers, repairmen etc.). They will be responsible for grocery shopping, school drop off (when needed) and pick-up (close by), homework assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry. Regular hours are 7am – 10 am and 2pm – 7pm (40 hours per week) with some flexibility to accommodate the family schedule. Permanent Position Work Experience: You have minimum 2 years’ experience working with a family as a nanny/au pair. You have excellent references. You enjoy maintaining an organized, welcoming home. You are flexible and you love cooking and entertaining. You love dogs and enjoy company – you are sociable and fun! You are willing and able to travel occasionally with the family (US/International). You have a clean driving record and class 5 driver’s license Experience with a child needing mild physiotherapy is an asset. Working Setting: Employer’s home. Family lives near King Edward and Arbutus, V6L Language: English Education: Completion of high school.
