Nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am a positive, caring individual, looking for a position as a nanny for Summer 2021. In spring 2020, I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in education. Since then, I have been working as a substitute teacher for Seven Oaks School Division. Throughout my time as a student, I worked at a daycare in transcona, working with children aged two to twelve, and caring for children with diverse needs. During this time, I volunteered with Girl Guides as a Sparks leader, facilitating both weekly meetings and special events. I have also worked for the Manitoba Children’s Museum as a school program interpreter. Throughout my experiences, I am constantly developing my toolbox of strategies and approaches for engaging with children - I want to enable children to be the best that they can be, in their own unique way. In addition to regular childcare services, I can also provide academic support in areas such as literacy and numeracy, or support in musical endeavors such as piano study. I also maintain a valid driver’s license, I have my own vehicle, and I can contribute to light housework and petcare. I am looking for work for July and August 2021, and I am willing to stretch this time into June or September, if needed.
