Nanny Job in Kingston, Ontario

Hello!

We are looking for a full-time live-out nanny for our 10 month-old daughter. We are looking for a fun, caring, reliable nanny, preferably with previous childcare experience. The position would start April 2021 but we are flexible with an earlier start so that you can get to know us and our daughter before we are back to work full-time. We would like to find someone that can work with our family long term. We are open to supporting professional development in areas related to childcare.

We are located on the west end of Kingston in Woodhaven. Our preference is to find someone who lives nearby or has a car (if possible). Having or being able to obtain a passport is ideal for when travel restrictions ease. Swimming experience is preferred as the grandparents have a pool 5 minutes away.

A typical week would be Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with one of us working from home 1 or 2 days a week. We're hoping our nanny will help with light housekeeping, meal prep and children's laundry. Pay is negotiable on a salary basis starting around $16/hr depending on experience and the scope of work that we agree on. The position would start with two weeks of paid vacation and statutory holidays. Option for working occasional evenings and weekends for overtime pay or lieu time.
