Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi my name is Gabriela I recently moved to Toronto as a student. I'm excited about this new chapter in my life. And I'm looking for an opportunity to be able to stay a little longer so I decided to be an nanny and get to experience more of Canada's life and culture. My sister was an au pair in the USA and she loved the experience I believe that will be a great experience to me as well. I hope we get to talk and learn more about the possibility to become an nanny. About me I am a girl sensitive for the arts in Brazil working with the production of films and documentaries and also worked in the food industry for a couple of years. I have two siblings Zeca and Carol. Zeca has a lovely family, two daughters Aila (8) and Maria (11). Carol is my twin sister and she was an au pair in the USA for two years. But she decided to stay there for college and is now a Junior at a University in Virginia. She had a great experience as an au pair there and she still lives with her host family. I have worked in many projects with children in the church and also have done school activities within schools in my community in Brazil. I like music, dance, and visual arts. I like to take many photographs as hobby. I ride bike for many years as a means of transportation and I am very happy to have discovered this passion for cycling. I have studied food concepts and nutrition, raw food, vegan and healthy food style. And I had a beautiful project in São Paulo called Creative Commes, which taught people to eat well. Then I went back over to photography and started working with film and film production. I produced two documentaries, a movie, and short film. And today I still interested in film production so I am always with my camera in hand and many ideas in my head. I hope that during my stay in Canada I will be able to keep taking my ESL classes to keep on improving my English skills. Having an experience in a new country is a challenge. I believe that being in a family environment is a good place to be since I'm away from home. I want to work with children for they are cheerful, full of life and inspiring. I like how children think and see the world. Children have transforming attitudes. I'm sure we can have a very creative time and fun together. I also believe that living in a environment where the english language will be spoken 24/7 will be a great help for me to improve my own english. I'm very creative and fun and I always love to do and create new things with my nieces and with the kids from the school project that I've worked for in Brazil.
