Hi there, My qualifications are the following: -I have over three years of child care experience -I have CPR certification -I have extensive experience with families with young children through my clinical practice (maternity and community rotations). -I have a lot knowledge of child development through courses and how to meet their needs -I have experience in gardening, swimming (completed all the YMCA levels) and can help your child with homework I want to become a child care provider because I am passionate about meeting children's needs based on their development stage. I would like to further my knowledge by having direct contact with children. Like people say, it is important to have practical experience rather than just learning theories about development from a textbook. A little about me: I am currently a certified Registered Nurse in Canada. Completed the four year nursing degree in Alberta. I am more then willing to work with a special needs child. Outside of nursing school, I enjoy being active, including swimming, running or cycling. I have ran a few half marathons and in order to prepare for the event I usually work out 10-15 hours a week.
