Nanny Job in Windsor, Ontario

Nanny required for full-time position in Windsor starting September 2012. This position is for a minimum requirement of 1 year, preferably 2 years. Nanny will be taken care of 2 children ages 2 and 5 years old. The 2 year old will be in Montessori at least 3 days a week, and the 5 year old will be in school 5 days a week. Responsibilities with the children are picking up from school when required, dressing and feeding the children when required, taking children to the park, reading to the children, engaging in different child related activities, including homework when applicable, and bathing children on occasional nights. Other duties include meals for the children, some dinner prep, daily light cleaning. Nanny is required to have experience in this field, as well CPR/first-aid training. Nanny must have a drivers license and access to her own car. English fluency is also required. Attributes including punctuality, honesty and responsible are critical. It is also very important that my husband and I can readily contact the Nanny at any given time, especially if the Nanny is out of the house (ie at the park or driving) with the children. If the Nanny has a direct contact such as a cell phone that is a plus. Hours for this postion are full time, as mentioned above, however these hours depend heavily on the mothers hours at work. A sample schedule can be discussed in person, but hours range from 35 hrs/wk to 45 hrs/wk. The weekend shifts are Sat 8:30am-6pm, Sun 9:30am-5pm. On the times when working the weekend, there would be two days off during the week to compensate. It is also important to have a Nanny that may be flexible to occasionally come in earlier or work in addition to these set hours (ie some Sat nights or an extra day etc). The wage can be negotiated.
