Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

I, Kelsey, recent site manager at Riverbend’s Calgary Child’s Play program and former Nanny of twin girls, am eagerly pleased to be engaging with BrightPath Kids. To provide you with a sense of whom I am, both on a personal and professional level, I share with you my history, and related childcare experiences. I was born and raised in the small farming community of Delia, Alberta, and am the youngest of three. Farming communities lay emphasis on strongly built families, and has taught me collaboration, sincerity, and respect for the natural environment. Shortly after my high-school graduation in 2006, I gathered my small town values, and headed towards the city to start my education and experience in the childcare field. In 2010 I graduated from Bow Valley College with a Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare, and following this, continued my education at the University of Lethbridge, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts. I have ten years of childcare related experience, working within elementary schools to daycare settings, and have cared for children ranging from four months of age to twelve years old. I am a resourceful, dependable employee who exhibits curiosity through a love of learning and teaching. As a creative visionary, with an eye for detail, I will generate lasting, positive impacts through my hardworking dedication and patience. I am searching for an optimistically kind, communicative and actively balanced work community. I truly enjoy being active and outdoors. From sand to snow, I’ll be ready!
