Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a full-time caregiver/nanny for our 3-year old son and 6-year old daughter. This position is permanent, year-round. Wage rate is $11.60/hour with optional accommodation available at no-charge on a live-in basis. Must have significant experience working with children with sever food allergies including training with Epi-Pen. Job duties include: - supervise and care for children in employer's residence. - Bathe, dress, feed and change diapers for child (or participate in toilet training) - engage with child in play and learning activities for social development. - responsible for meal preparation, laundry, washing dishes, running errands and other routine housekeeping duties. - take children to school and programs daily. - maintain a healthy home environment. - may be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child for the parents to review to determine if additional activities can be incorporated into the daily schedule for child's development. - discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. - organize and participate in activities, such as games, reading to child and outing to provide amusement and exercise. - advise parents of any health concerns immediately that may be affecting the child. Employment requirements: - completion of secondary school is required - experience as a caregiver/nanny is required for this position - child-care and household management experience is required - demonstrated ability to perform work is required by providing previous employer references - the chosen applicant will be required to work full time for 35 hours per wee for 5 days a week.
