Nanny Job in Langley, British Columbia

Hello ladies, We are a family of 4 seeking a live out nanny for this coming August. We have recently purchased a home in the Yorkson area but will not be moving in until Dec. We will be living in Provinceton area until this time. My husband and I both work shift work. I work as a nurse at SMH and my husband works as police officer for the RCMP. We have 2 wonderful children ages 4 & 6. Makayla is 4 and will be in preschool 3 days per week in September and Colton is 6 and will be starting grade 1 in September. Our children are busy little people who like to be active. They are involved in sports and love going for walks, bike rides and playing at the park. Our family has had an aupair in the past and we've used local nanny as well. Our children have loved all their caregivers and adapt to new people quite quickly. They are confident and very outgoing. In terms of our expectations, our main concerns is the safety and well being of our children. We want you and the kids to be happy together. Its important that you enjoy being with the kids and are happy working with our family. My husband and I are really easy going so don't ever hesitate to talk openly with us about anything that may come up. Job Description The routines look different every day. You will likely be working between 20-30 hours per week and this will be a mixture of days and evenings with the possibility of an overnight shift here and there. On a day shift (6:15 am-4:00pm) you will need to take Colton to school and Makayla to her preschool (M,W,F), then pick them up and take them home. You will need a license and car. Once we move in December the school will be within walking distance. On an evening shift (2:30 pm - midnight) you will pick the kids up from school. Playtime and park after school, sports, homework, dinner preparation and the bedtime routine. Transportation is an important part of this job as we will depend on you to drive the kids to their extra curricular activities. (hockey, ballet, soccer). I hope this information is helpful.
