Job Responsibilities Supervise, guide and care for children in our own residence Bathe, dress and feed children Plan, prepare and serve meals for household in addition to performing other housekeeping duties Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Instruct children in personal hygiene Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development Discipline children based on the methods specified by the parents Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings Take children to and from school, Extra Curriculum Activities and appointments(Valid License Required) Applicant should Have completed a training program in child care or a related field Have the relevant experience in childcare or household management Demonstrate the ability to perform work Training in first aid certification and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Valid drivers license Be reliable, collaborative, flexible and able to take initiative Maintain strong interpersonal and organizational skills Language : English Misc. We are prepared to review candidates on an individual basis and understand that a live out position can be costly- we are willing to assist in the costs of residence for an appropriately qualified applicant. Holiday time will be provided within the guidelines of the Government of Alberta (2 consecutive weeks per year) as well as being flexible to the needs of the applicant. Part Time schedule suggestion 4pm/5pm - 9pm/10pm Full Time schedule suggestion - Negotiable /40 hours per work week / day or evening / weekends in exchange for time off during the week / Open to other arrangement suggestions.
