Nanny Job in Kelowna, British Columbia

Location: Lower Mission, Kelowna Note: we are looking for someone long-term, no summer-only applicants please :) The main role of the Nanny will be to assist me (the mommy) in caring for our daughter (1 yr old) and managing the household. I work from home and am looking for someone to care for our baby when I am occupied with work. Times when I am not working, the nanny will assist with household duties and meal preparation. We have a warm, friendly home. We are tidy and organized. The Nanny will help our family and household to run smoothly and effectively. The Nanny ideally will have: - Current first aid and CPR certification - Ideally, at least 2 years of previous Nanny experience - 3 excellent references The Nanny should be: - Reliable - Responsible - Friendly - Mature - Organized Childcare duties will include: - Playtime with baby, including focus on developmental activities - Playing games with baby - Reading and singing to baby - Taking baby for walks - Diaper changing - Putting baby down for naps - Feeding baby The nanny will also assist with household duties including: - Daily tidying the house (putting away toys, loading dishwasher, cleaning up from baby’s meals, etc.) - Daily meal preparation (1/2 hour daily) - Cleaning the house (4-5 hours/week) 25-30 hours week, $15/hour
