Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are seeking a live-out nanny for our two boys aged 5 years and 18 months. I work shift work, so my schedule is not Monday to Friday, but I average about 100-120 hours a month of required care. I do not need overnight care , as my husband is home at 5pm. But, being that my husband is in the military, it is possible he could get called away and I will need overnight care at that point. My schedule is a little confusing, but I am willing to provide it if you are interested. We live in the very nice neighborhood of Point Grey on the Military Base. My eldest son attends preschool twice a week. It would be convenient for our nanny to have a drivers licence so she can take Liam to and from preschool. If not, the transit system can be utilized. Liam is quite active, so we were hoping to find someone who can keep up with him while also caring for my youngest. Declan, who is getting close to walking. We are also hoping our new childcare provider will be willing to take our boys out to parks and participate in other local activities with them. Some things that are important to us are maintaining normalcy and routine while my husband and I are at work, playing board games, doing crafts and puzzles with my eldest, preparing simple but healthy meals, light housekeeping, ensuring my children are encouraged to use good manners and treat others with respect and are treated with respect, also doing activities which will facilitate learning in preparation for kindergarten such as practicing letters and numbers and reading books together. We are hoping to find someone who speaks English well. We use positive reinforcement a lot to encourage good behavior, we are looking for someone willing to do this with our children. Thank you.
