Nanny Job in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Hi there! We have one son who is 5 years old and very active - as you'd expect with a bit of sass. We are trying to get him into a full-day montessori or kindergarten but on waitlists right now. At a minimum he will be gone for a half-day daily I'd expect. We also have a very health (read heavy lol) 8.5 month old. He is healthy as we know it and hopefully stays that way. It would be nice to have him enrolled in some small baby activities as I get to know the city. We are looking for someone that is ENGAGED with our sons - who will play with him...maybe teach him a few things in the process...and enjoys spending time in the outdoors, as he does! Cell phone use is ideally none unless there is an emergency. If you know how to meal prep and introduce new foods that's a bonus! Reliability is VERY important to us - as it is most parents - however, our jobs leave little to no room for last minute cancellations. In addition, driving is also ideal however not essential - we do however have a car for you to use during work-hours for the kids. We are moving to Furdale so I don't think there is public transit. For the right person, we would be willing to pay for pick up and drop offs daily (ie: uber or cabs, etc). While childcare is the number one priority, if someone is able to help with home management that would also be great - kids laundry, dishes, meal preps - general stuff to keep the house in order and can act without direction (just see it and do what needs to be done). Of note, the listing comments that we are only paying $15/hr - depending on experience, this is negotiable. The listing does not permit a price range. In addition, we do have a farm 1.5 hours south of Saskatoon on a lake. There is room for you to join and really integrate into our family. We'd love for the right person to feel apart of our family unit and join us when it was feasible. ____ I almost forgot. We have a 15 year old mini daxi named Nakita. She's a good girl but her bladder if failing her. Funny not funny. She may not be with us much longer but after snagging 2 gophers this year...I have to watch what I say. She really is low maintenance other than potty breaks and watching her when outside as she is likely deaf. Poor girl...
