Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hi! We have two young girls (8 & 6) who are excited about finding a live-out nanny so they can get their parents out of the house! We also have a tiny dog who would like to love you. We will need someone to care for them for approximately 10 hours/wk for July -August and possibly beyond if all goes well. Right now they need care every Thursday and Friday and, if possible, occasionally on Tuesdays. Both our girls, once you get to know them, are quite engaging and have a sense of fun and a big sense of humor. Our 8-yr-old is very active and likes climbing trees and monkey bars. She's very creative and likes doing art and writing projects independently. Our 6-yr-old is very kind, caring, and sensitive. She likes engaging in conversation and cuddling and trying to make you laugh. Both girls like creating scenarios and dramas they can reenact for a willing audience. The girls want someone who can enjoy their interests with them -- like playing games, swimming, going to the park across the street, going for walks, and playing with the dog. They'll also need you to make them a simple lunch and put the breaks on their big appetite for sweets. We live in the Cambie area very close to Cambie Village with lots of shops. (The girls will want to show you their favorite ice cream shop.) Public transit is very convenient. Canada line King Edward station is a 10 min walk away. The 25 bus stop is 5-10 min away, and the 33 bus stop and other Cambie stops are a 5 min walk. You will need to find your own transportation to our house. Any expenses you incur while caring for the girls will be reimbursed to you. Or, we will pay any amount required for the cost of an activity up front.
