I'm an
Individual
Dear Family, How are you? First forgive me for my english...Well, my name's Letícia, I was born and live in Brazil and I'm 28 y.o. I graduated in psychology and this year I finish my specialization in clinical psychology (psychoanalysis). I have acquired a lot of experience attending children with autism and other complaints as well as adults and the elderly, but now I want to take a break in my profession and to meet other countries, learn new languages and think that being with a child and doing other activities inside and outside the family can make my experience richer and more valuable. I have a long experience in taking care of children and I worry about their protection. I always try to be kind and attentive, because I know that in the absence of parents the caregiver has a great responsibility to protect the child and give him affection. I also like to be outdoors (if weather helps), sit on the floor and propose activities that stimulate intelligence and creativity, and of course the games in which they can spend energy and are fun (such as sports and group games). I speak a little English, Spanish and Portuguese that is the language spoken in Brazil. I want learn new lenguages and on the future do a pos graduation abroad. I love to study, to read, to travel and to know new places. I am a Christian, I do not drink, I do not smoke and I also do not go to the night parties. I like sports, although not good at most. I always try to follow the guidelines of the parents, I care about the discipline, but I believe that talking, being patient and setting a good example, are healthier attitudes towards children, so I do not appreciate aggressive and violent attitudes towards children. Please if you are aggressive with your children do not consider me to be your au pair, but if you agree with my view of education, I believe I can be a very helpful member in the family.
