Nanny Job in Ancaster, Ontario

Hi there prospective helpers, I thought that the best way to introduce ourselves is to tell you a little bit about our family. We live in Ancaster and have 2 beautiful little girls. Our oldest is 2 and our youngest is 6 months. I am currently on mat leave until September at which time I will be returning to work full time with the possibly of working day and afternoon shifts. My husband works rotating shifts that are often unpredictable. This has led us to seeking a family helper rather than traditional daycare. At this time we would love to have a mommy helper / babysitter that could help out for a few hours, 3-4 negotiable days per week (10-15 hours/week). Come September, we will be looking for more of a full time nanny. We live an active lifestyle and try to be outdoors as much as possible and love encouraging our girls to be active, meeting new people and exploring new things. We also place a strong emphasis on learning and reading with very little TV and electronics. We have a very friendly, medium sized, goldendoodle that we walk at least once a day. We keep a clean and tidy home and love preparing fresh, nutritious food (especially for the girls). Ideally, we would love for a helper to integrate with our family throughout the summer with the possibility of taking on more responsibility/hours come September however we understand if you are simply looking for a few hours a week through the summer and we can always seek out someone else when the time comes. We don't see a nanny or family helper as an employee but someone we would love to be a part of our family. As such, you will be treated with the respect not only as a guest but as an equal member of our family. We would prefer that our helper have experience working with similar aged children and have references. We would also like our helper to be CPR/First Aid Certified and agree to a police check.
