Nanny Job in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Hi! We are a married couple (two women) with our (boy and girl) 3yr old twins living in the Silver Valley area in Maple Ridge, BC. Our family is looking for a nanny during the week (12:30pm-5:30pm) to provide after pre-school care starting in September, Mon-Fri. Our daughter was born with a form of dwarfism, and so she is atypically short for her age; however, she is energetic and able to do almost everything her brother does – she just does it differently. We need a caring individual who loves kids to provide after pre-school child care. We are looking for someone who absolutely loves children and can help to continue to teach them a good attitude about life and learning. Specifically, the key job requirements are: -Experience working with multiple children, and good references for past child care -Energetic, responsible, emotionally stable, self-aware personality -A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record and experience, and present knowledge/ willingness to learn and implement, correct car seat safety protocols -A clean criminal record check -You will need your own own vehicle and be able to use it to pick up the kids from preschool and drive them home (it's approximately 6 minutes from their preschool). -Ability to do light cleaning up after the kids and food preparation for their lunch and dinner -Recent First Aid and CPR training Salary: $15/hour, or $1,650/month with 2 weeks paid vacation time
