As an expat family living in Copenhagen, Denmark, there are limited resources when it comes to care for the children. My wife and I decided in 2015 to search for an Au Pair. New to the concept, we were lucky enough to receive a recommendation from acquaintances about Sherry Anne Bumagat. After having established contact and a skype call, we decided to take her into our house and trust her with the care of our children. Between then and now so many things have happened and we have come to know Sherry Anne as a warm, caring and extremely intelligent young lady, who has a remarkable talent to work with children. Our children have grown really fond of DzSheannedz and travel to and from school with her every day. She helps them to develop their skills and can hold the balance between fun and discipline. She is patient but can act with remarkable speed when required. Sheanne can entertain the children and sings, dances and plays with them and has a natural talent to sense their needs. This talent helps her to get really close to them and they hence trust and are extremely attached to her. In addition she helps the household in any way she can, from keeping the rooms tidy to cooking and ironing. We consider her as well organized, responsible and taking charge, which in an ever changing environment is crucial. There are probably many Au Pairs around the world who can be described by the above, but what makes Sherry Anne stand out is her eye for detail and her involvement. I strongly believe this young women will go places and reach her goals and I would without a doubt vouch for her, any day. It will be with sadness in our hearts that the children and us will have to say goodbye to her, because she brought a bit of sunlight in our lives – or rather Sheanneshine.
