Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

I am a mature, hardworking, responsible, trustworthy, energetic and loving mother of three grown daughters looking for a nanny position in Calgary this fall. I will be relocating to SE Calgary in October. I am the owner/operator of a licensed community home daycare operating a preschool program for three and four year olds for twenty years but will be closing it this month. I have always been interested in becoming a nanny for a loving family and I feel I am well suited to do so. I have experience caring for children 5 years – 12 years at the Afterschool Pool Club as well. Working with children has given me an enthusiastic and friendly approach to life and great communication skills. Building confidence and self-esteem in children has been one of the foundations of my program. Doing crafts, learning thru play is a fun time and I love being outdoors as well. I owned two dogs, my daughters all have dogs, so pets are not an issue. Not only am I confident in the leadership role as I have always worked unassisted and am very familiar with child care needs, I have over twenty years acquired very important time management, problem solving and most important, organizational skills. Lite cleaning, laundry and meal prep are chores I don’t mind doing and I love to bake!
