Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a nanny to care for our 16-month old daughter as of July 1st, 2014. By way of introduction we are a family that most recently lived in California. After having lived there for nearly 6 years, and the birth of our wonderful little girl, we made the decision to come back to Toronto to be closer to our extended family. We are both at work from Monday to Friday but one day a week her grandma will be there to provide care. We are looking for a nanny that will: - kindly care for our daughter - support her pace of learning and activity - encourage her through positive language and behaviour - help her nap throughout the day (and not let her cry out, i.e. tend to her when she is seeking comfort) - help prepare her meals throughout the day - take her outdoors and explore nature and the playground - take her out for activities such as story time at the library - support a bi-lingual home (English and Cantonese) Details: - Part time (4 days a week, 9 hours per day) - Live-out - High Park neighborhood
