Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hello to those who are interested in working as a nanny part-time. We are looking for a Nanny/Mother’s helper to work approx. 10-20hrs./week for the summer and approx. 15-20 hours/week Sept-June 2014/15. During the school year the nanny position would require dropping off and or picking up our 3 children at their daycare and local school just a 5-10 minute drive away. A driver’s license is mandatory and we can provide the vehicle In addition, managing mealtime activities, baths, playtime, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. Light housekeeping required when time permits and or as needed. Up to date first aid certification and a police reference check required. Sept 2014 hours may vary 7-9 and or 3-7 p.m. Mon-Fri. Possible schedule could be Mon-Tues-Wed 7:15-9:15 and 3:15-7 p.m. I can be somewhat flexible around which days drop off or pick ups happen. My schools age son is a 2 minute drive from our house and our pre-schoolers daycare is a 5 minute drive from our house. Basically my husband and I need someone to drop our kids off and pick them up 3 days a week and we can be somewhat flexible which morning and afternoon this happens. Basically morning and afternoon pick ups do not have to happen on the same days. Key qualities needed: An experienced, energetic playful person, who is patient, enjoys the outdoors, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, reading and has lots of experience with young toddlers and working with 2-3 toddlers at one time. Someone, who can as a routine, educate them, and do interesting learning activities, whether it be art, games, baking, exercise, etc. ***We are looking for a minimum 1-3 year commitment. We need someone with a very strong command of the English language***French, Spanish or Italian, as a second language, is an asset. All 3 children are attending a French Immersion school. Location is important! It would be ideal if our nanny/mother’s helper/admin assistant would live within 0-10 (max) kilometers of our home. Thank you for your consideration!
