Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Our family is seeking live-out childcare assistance and house manager for a family with two girls. We are located in the Beaches close to Queen Street and Woodbine Avenue. We are a Dachshund loving household (she’s an older lady) and live close to transit. My husband and I work from home sometimes and would be around the house on a periodic basis. As a family I would say we a pretty health conscious, Eco-friendly and sustainability is important to us. We try to do our part to reduce our footprint on the planet. My husband is an avid cyclist and bikes to work 12 months a year. I on the other hand don't brave the cold the way he does. We are an extremely flexible and agile family so if most of the description below works for you, please feel free to reach out and see if there’s a fit. We are prepared to be flexible with other commitments especially if you are able to let me know a period of time in advance (exams, rehearsals, etc). Location: Toronto Beach, a 3 minute walk from the 501 Queen Street car and ~8 minute walk for the 64 bus stop. Duties include: - Pickup from school - housekeeping/light shopping which depending on the day can include lunches and snacks, unpack school bags, unpacking grocery deliveries, pickup items from local green grocer, pickup/drop-off library books, laundry, dinners, tidy toys. -flexibility for some additional hours for business travel (planned in advance) -some comfort with French is an asset -drivers license is an asset Hours: ~20 hrs (depending on what individual is seeking) Monday 2pm-6pm Tuesday 2pm-7pm Wednesday 3pm-8pm Thursday 3pm-8pm Friday – 12-3pm (or adjusted time) Rate: negotiable based on experience and fit
