Nanny Job in Kanata, Ontario

We are a family living in Kanata, ON (cross street is March and Maxwell) looking for a full time long term nanny for our twin boys, age 5 months as of May, 2015. We are recruiting now for a position that will be available on October, 2015. The hours are M-F 8 AM - 4 PM and Sun 6 PM - 9 PM, totaling 35 hours a week, at $11/hr. We would like to find a caring and engaging sitter with references, a valid current criminal background check, and an up to date CPR certificate/training. High school graduate, required and preferably, with completion of college or university. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience caring for infants and will require no additional training. Responsibilities include supervise and care for children; Bathe, dress and feed infants and children; Prepare infants and children for rest periods; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Read to children; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants; Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Tend to emotional well-being of children; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Moreover, the nanny must be willing to seriously consider relocating with the family as needed for any upcoming corporate moves. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
