Nanny Job in Courtice, Ontario

Courtice family is seeking a nurturing, mature, active and upbeat nanny to care for two children (aged 10 months and 5 years) Nanny needed on full time basis for 40 hours per week at the employer's home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Light housework such as dishes, folding laundry, making beds, assist with nap time and preparing meals is required. We have a small Maltese dog that is trained and only requires being let out or occasional walks when weather permits. Children occasionally need to be brought to nearby recreational or school events with stroller/wagon. The ideal candidate will organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, tend to emotional well-being of children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, bathe, dress and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Also perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Salary is $14.00 for forty hours per week. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a caregiver for either children, disabled or elderly. Must be able to speak French to the children. Secondary school education diploma is required. No smoking or pets are permitted. Job Type: Full-time
