Nanny in Kitchener, Ontario

Hi, my name is Christina, and I am originally from Georgetown, ON. I am currently attending the University of Guelph for Psychology with a heart for behavioural neuroscience, and I am in my 4th year. I co-founded my own company that revolves around wellness, and teaching girls and women how to create meaningful and healthy connections with others and their own selves. I love children, and have been watching kids and babies as a main source of income throughout my university career. I am currently looking for more work during the day with regular hours, but I’m super flexible with how those hours are given. I am currently a Clinical Aide (nurses assistant) at St. Mary’s hospital in Kitchener. I have volunteered at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, where I was a child life specialist in the cardiac ward 4D. I have also volunteered at the Reach Out Centre for Kids in Milton, and Volunteered as a mentor through Children's Aid. I currently run a youth group within my company for teenaged girls between 13-18, and teach them valuable life skills. I also serve within the Christian church community regularly. Even though I do have a lot of experience with children, my top priority at the end of the day is family and togetherness, so I would love to work for a family with similar values as myself. Additionally, I have 3 years experience with long term care in a retirement home, 1 year with medical grade experience in a hospital setting, as well as my G drivers license including a booster seat, and room for a car seat if needed (I drive an SUV). I also have safetalk training, mental health first aid training, heart saver level first aid, and have an in-depth experience and training working with very sick patients at the hospital.
