My name is Vanessa Plouffe, currently in grade 12 at Robert Bateman High School. I live at home with both parents and a sibling who has mental challenges, giving me a lifetime experience with children who have special needs, as well as 3 years of LIT (leader in training) where I worked with children who had severe special needs and children who do not. I have been babysitting for 5 years, and I have never had a child not like me! I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition weight loss coach, allowing me to keep children physically active safely and allowing me to be physically fit enough to keep up with them! Also have my first aid and CPR. I can cook a wide variety of food and know lots of crafts and games to play from my camp counseling years. I was in Girl Guides of Canada for 12 years, also a junior leader for sparks allowing me to lead games, crafts and help solve any conflict between the girls calmly and efficiently.
