Hello! My name is Jenna, I am 28 years old with 15 years of child care experience. I have experience with ages 0-17. My experience include: 5 summers volunteering as a camp counselor at a summer camp in Medicine Hat where I would be responsible with my co-counselor for 12 children 24 hours a day for a week at a time. Ages 6 - 17. Summer camp volunteer duties also include: crafts walks biking archery/riflery rock climbing ziplining games and much more General childcare, nannying, camp counseling, infant care program at church. I have many references with families I have provided child care over the years, families with children of all ages. I would love to connect you with them if you are interested in having me join your household! I am open to finding a full time or part time child care position. I would also like to find a few families as a part time/casual/ on call basis. In the case of an emergency or even a date night, I would gladly be there! My rate is negotiable as I am quite flexible. I do have a lot of experience but I am very understanding of situations so please don’t hesitate to message me in regards to rates! As for my qualities and overall person hood; I love to have fun. I am always seeking wellness, joy, prosperity, adventures, wisdom, growth and LAUGHTER. I am quite an active person. My favourite sport is basketball, I love going for walks and being outdoors! I am constantly seeking out new hobbies and interests. A few of my interests learning languages such as spanish and sign language. I have a passion for art, I love acrylic as well as drawing and digital art. You can find my trying to figure out my cricut... i'm getting there, slowly but surely ;) I love to rollerblade in the summer/spring, and skate in the winter months. Keeping active has always brought me great joy from a young age. I enjoy writing and have plans to write and illustrate children's books in the future. I am an advocate for mental health and well being, for inclusion and kindness. Working with children is a true passion of mine, it has always been. There is so much to learn, fun to have, adventures to go on. My approach with children is typically filled with the outdoors, being active, crafts, learning, discovery, parks, art, and so much more.
