Overview: Hello! I am Katie. I'm interviewing for a daytime/overnight nanny employment opportunity in Comox, British Columbia. My aim is to apply my skill as a daytime or overnight nanny. Description of Skills: I have worked with a variety of individuals who have developmental disabilities; this rages from adults with low functioning autism, down syndrome, PICA, cerebral palsy, brain injuries and a large variety of mental health disorders. I have worked as a residential worker as well as a community support worker. I've also worked in multiple family shelters as a supportive role to parents and their children. I have a mental health/addictions counselling diploma. I am very a very patient individual and believe that it doesn't take a lot to genuinely care and help others.
